Being more positive

Not sure where I am going with this one as I have already written about finding things difficult, but as it's International Happiness day I thought this would be a fitting post to write.

I can not deny I’m still not feeling great but I have had lots of time to think and I have decided no more it’s really affecting my mental health and my health overall.  I have been getting more migraines, being a complete nightmare to live with and being that snappy mum that I hate. So enough is enough no more I needed to make changes!

I can not deny I’m still not feeling great but I have had lots of time to think and I have decided no more it’s really affecting my mental health and my health overall. I have been getting more migraines, being a complete nightmare to live with and being that snappy mum that I hate. So enough is enough no more I needed to make changes!

So I made the huge decision to make some changes in my life to help me get back on a positive track because let’s face it I have so much to be happy and grateful for like my beautiful family and some wonderful friends. To help me get myself back to the happy go lucky me I have downloaded a few apps I’ve heard about via friends and on instagram these are the headspace app and I have also downloaded TED talks app they are both amazing and I can now see why people rave about them so much……although I’ve only been using them for 3days I am already feeling a little better, minus the little wobble I had yesterday. The meditation is fantastic, never tried it before but I am loving it. I intend to make lots of small changes over the coming months because no one can do it for me……

I have decided to change my diet and drink more water so I can be healthier and get back to a weight I am happy with so I feel body confident again, as I have not been body confident for many years which has really affected my mood. I also need to start exercising more even thinking of finding a class I like and trying out something new. Alongside the new apps I have decided I need to read more books, lots of positivity I am about to restart reading ‘Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway’ last year I read the book ‘At Last A Life’ which was amazing but I do think I need to reread it. I also love reading others blogs and have found so many from people I follow on Instagram.

I started out the year so well writing to do lists and making sure I ticked things off and found pride in knowing I’d done them, but it didn’t last king so I need to restart my lists and get myself back on track with things.

As a family we are looking to make some big changes this year, spending more time outdoors doing things for the kids and we even want to try and get a holiday in this year. But the biggest change we would love to make as a family this year is to find a new bigger house as we aren’t happy where we are currently and we have massively outgrown our current house. So roll on the house hunting we are very excited for that.

So I know this one has been a bit of a ramble and no pics again but that’s another thing I want to do this year learn to use our camera properly and start a you tube channel eventually.

Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy.

Until next one.
