You saw that right, yes we’re heading to Shropshire’s first ever Camp Bestival this weekend and we are super excited that we were asked to attend, we’ve never been to a large scale event such as this and we can’t wait for this amazing experience.
Camp Bestival have an event in Dorset that has been running since 2004 and has had so many big names play at the event over the years. Camp Bestival is a massive family orientated festival with so much to see, do and experience. In 2017 Shropshire lost V festival which used to take place at Weston Park, and since then Shropshire hasn’t had a event on this kind of large scale. Earlier this year I was contacted amongst many others by the Camp Bestival team who we’re taking Shropshire by storm and bringing the amazing event to Weston Park, and because I live in Shropshire and like to use my social media and my blog to support businesses and I love doing reviews as many of you will know. Of course when asked I jumped at the chance to attend this event with my family.
So we will be heading to the gorgeous Weston Park on Friday 19th, Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st August, we will see artists such as Becky Hill, The Proclaimers, Fat boy Slim, Example, Shed Seven, Rag n Bone man amongst so many more during the weekend and we have so much to experience. Personally I am looking forward to possibly attempting some paddle-boarding which I have always wanted to have a go at but never had the option too, there is also tree climbing which I am excited to have a crack at and I am also excited to see Gok Wan and Scouting for girls. The girls are very excited to see the likes of Mister maker, many of the musical acts on during the 3 days, they are also excited to experience cosmic kids yoga, trapeze school, large sandpits amongst so much more.

We will not be camping at event due to it being so close to home for us, but we will be giving and honest account of our experiences and taking lots of photos, videos of all 3 days we attend. Hopefully it may also kick start my Youtube channel that has lay dormant for quite a while so who knows we may get a vlog out of all the content we hope to create. We are very excited to meet up with a family I have followed on Instagram for many years now which is very exciting as they’ve experienced many festivals, the lovely Kaz is also a fellow blogger so to check her out I shall drop in her blog and Instagram links here. http://www.instagram.com/snowkazadventures http://www.the3amdiary.com Â
